Despite being located in a remote area with limited resources, the departments ability to deliver such high-quality services has garnered widespread praise.
In the first case, a 46-year-old woman had been suffering from severe and chronic bleeding for an extended period. She was physically and mentally exhausted due to frequent weakness, fatigue, and the impact it had on her daily life. This constant condition led to a significant decline in her confidence and quality of life. To provide her relief, a laparoscopic hysterectomy was performed, and with the help of advanced technology, the procedure was carried out with minimal pain, less blood loss, and a quicker recovery. Post-surgery, the patient expressed immense relief and gratitude for the successful outcome.
The second case presented an even bigger challenge for the medical team. A 22-week pregnancy with a giant fibroid in the uterus, combined with severe weakness in the patient, required an exploratory laparotomy.
